the school year is officially over so it’s that super weird time of year where my brain goes from 100 to 0 in like one day. it’s always such a weird landing especially because i teach mainly seniors so it’s every emotion, every event, every hour of the day one day and then the next you realize you haven’t spoken a full sentence to another human being all day. last summer i taught summer school which was a thousand percent not worth the extra money so this summer i am attempting to make a schedule for myself to actually refresh and reset for the school year- we’ll see how that goes.
it’s optimistic but honestly the main goals for this summer are to create realistic habits that i can sustain during the school year- go to the gym three times a week, go to therapy, cook actual dinner twice a week. i think that’s the difference this summer, usually once school is out it’s that feeling of like “yes school was the problem that’s why my life isn’t perfect” i mean kind of but also you could meal prep pretty easily and get an anxiety med prescription but sure just work is what’s keeping you from doing those things. it’s a realistic girl summer.

🎶 p1harmony recently had a comeback duh! (for kpop that’s just another album they didn’t go anywhere) and it is so good it scratches that *nsync 90s go white boy r&b itch. pretty boy is my favorite currently but every song is so good.
🌈 hi gay! the venn diagram of companies that are legitimately giving back to the queer community and who have cute merch is almost two separate circles this year but i did find that levi’s had a well researched and curated collection if you are trying to find places to go that are not target
✨ my aunt came up to the bay to see stray kids at oracle park with us (ten out of ten life changing concert btw) and she was only in town for 48 hours so i took her on this little “best of sf” driving tour before dropping her at the airport! all the stops you can either drive by or have free parking and i always like doing it at the end of the trip since most of it is outdoorsy so it just relaxes you before you drive or fly home
